The origins of Auto-Industrial Group date back to the 1920s with the foundation, in Coimbra (Portugal), of Auto-Industrial company. At that time it was a limited liability company with a share capital of 250 thousand escudos (aprox. 1.250 Euros) and the 32 founder partners included various ancestors of the company, current shareholders. Linked since the beginning to the business of car trade and repair, the history of the group is also a part of the history of automobiles in Portugal.
Without ever having ceased to be a Group specialized in automobiles, Auto-Industrial Group has expanded its operations over the years and has become a solid Portuguese business group, being also present in the Agricultural Machinery, Maritime and Industrial Engines, Vessels.
Auto-Industrial Group has a long tradition of business success, which would not have been possible without the contribution of different generations of employees and leaders.
